On Tuesday, A5 had the special privilege of representing Cornerstone Christian School (and Japan) in an Olympic Hockey Day put on by Hockey Manawatu. Samuel summed up the day well in his story when he wrote "It was tiring but it was fun at same time".We had an opening ceremony and a closing ceremony. We got to lead the other countries around the turf. Amber was chosen to raise the Olympic flag in the opening ceremony. That was a bit of an honour!

We played hard! We even played against each other in one round! We were good sports.
Other fun things the day included were listening to a former hockey Olympian - Tara Drysdale and a tug-of-war against other countries.
