We have been exploring equal sharing in Maths and thinking about questions like:
Stacey bought a big bag of lollies, which she shared out into small bags.
Each small bag has 5 lollies. Stacey made 8 bags.
How many lollies were in the big bag?
If there were 80 lollies in the big bag, how many small bags could she make?
TOWER CHALLENGE
To help get our heads around "groups of", today we worked in pairs with two dice and some wooden cubes. One person rolled the number of towers and the other, the number of blocks in the tower/s. We had to make what we had rolled, write a Maths sentence about it, and them take a photo to show what we had done. Here are a few of our photos.
